Handmade cupcakes and cakes perfect for birthdays, weddings and other special events. I am a designer and enthusiastic baker living in Tøyen, Oslo. About me: Why and how? I have always enjoyed baking and eating cake, but I was never the sort of kid who bought sweets or chocolate from the local shops. But if I saw cake, especially anything homebaked, it would be gone in seconds. In October 2013, my husband and I bought our first home, which included a lovely open planed kitchen. With the extra space my baking became more frequent and obsessive and after catering my own wedding, friends encouraged me to get online. All my cupcakes are make without egg and I can use almond, oat or soy milk if requested, to make it a vegan sponge. As I have a lot of friends with special dietry requirements, so I have always baked without egg. I find these cakes super moist and as tasty as egg based cakes. My sponges are naturally coloured, moist and sweet, with less sugar than most so they must be healthy right : I make all cupcakes myself and love to add a special touch to my decorations if there are special orders such as birthdays, anniversaries or baby showers. Please be aware, as a small part time business, there will be times when I am full booked or unavailable to meet demands. But I will do my best to accommodate everyone : I currently have a set cupcake menu but if you have any other flavour suggestions I am open to venturing into new flavours where I can. All cakes contain organic almond essence, please specify if you have any nut allergies so I can take this out. Cakes can be picked up for free or delivered at an extra cost. Just want to say a big thank you to all my precious customers and new customers who have been waiting patiently to hear when I will be baking again. Thank you so much for making my little home bakery such a fun and exciting experience. I will plan to use this next year to improve my baking and cake designs. Thought i should finally share some photos and an update on my current situation. So I have received so many request for cakes and unfortunately I still haven't been able to take any orders. And what with my son suddenly coming down ill this week has just shown me just how little time I have to commit to orders. I have tried to provide a very high standard of service but life with a baby is so unpredictable I just wouldn't want to say yes to orders that I would later not be able to provide! So unfortunately I am going to be away for the rest of 2017 and will assess how life is once my little boy has started kindergarten. Thanks to all my lovely and understanding costumers. My inbox has been inundated with cake requests and as much as I would love to be back baking again, I am also just loving my time with my little boy. These last three months have gone so quickly and my time is currently very much consumed with my baby. So I am afraid I will still be on maternity for a while longer. I promise to announce as soon as possible when I have time to start back up again.
